Some New Years Resolutions

1) Blog. Even just to clarify my thinking to myself.
2) Keep a diary. (You know for stuff that shouldn't go on the blog).
3) Delve deeper into the areas of economics that interest me.
4) In order to do that (3), brush up on my econ math first.
5) Learn more Excel/Stata stuff.
6) I'm shit at back of the envelope calculations. Learn to tackle Fermi problems. Read Guesstimation.
7) Go to the gym.
8) Learn to speak Kiswahili properly.
9) Read more. As in more books, less blogs.
10) Do more ignorant thinking.
11) Shave regulary. Serious time inconsistency problems here.

Yes, I know about the scarcity of will-power etc. I also know these are hardly new goals of mine. Just hoping that spelling them out explicitly might help this time.

Maybe more later.
